What is a non woven dressing roll?
A non woven dressing roll is a soft, breathable adhesive dressing material supplied in roll form. It is made from non woven fabric laminated with medical adhesive and a release liner. The rolls can be cut into different widths and are mainly used for fixing wound pads, securing gauze, protecting surgical incisions and producing island dressings and plaster strips.
Compared with woven gauze rolls, non woven dressing rolls do not shed fibers, conform better to body contours and provide higher wearing comfort, especially for sensitive skin and long-term wound care.
